There are THREE ways to advertise with us:
  1. Join our Community Calendar (FREE)
  2. Promote your Upcoming Event -or- an Event that has already happened (FREE for Non Profit)
  3. Advertise your Business with us (PAID)

1. Join our Community Calendar:
Submit your Group name to us with a little description of what type of group you are and the reason you’d like your events included in our community calendar. You must have an existing Google calendar (or are willing to create one for your group). We will do our best to accommodate as many groups as we can and include them on our website, but cannot guarantee that all groups will be approved. Approval is based on content and is up to the discretion of the webmaster.

2. Event Ads:
Some events (no matter if they are upcoming or have already happened) are so important that they need a little bit more room for additional details and photos.
Non Profit and Charity featured events are FREE!

  • Upcoming Events (Found on the “Featured Upcoming Events” page): We have two ways to help notify community members of your event. 1. On the day of the event, if your event is listed in your own google calendar, the name of the event will be listed under “Delavan Today” located in the middle section of the homepage. This listing is free and “Delavan Today” events are pulled in from each individual group calendar. 2. If you would like to highlight your event in advance, you have the option of a paid event listing which is listed on the right side of the homepage and also on the Upcoming Events page. The Fee for your event to be listed on the Upcoming Events Page is $10
  • Past Events (Found on the “In the News” page): Where you will find additional photos and details from events that have already happened.

3. Business Ads:
Advertise your business with us. People from all over the community, as well as surrounding areas, are visiting MyLocalAreaEvents.com for updates on what is going on in Delavan and the surrounding Walworth County areas. Advertising possibilities are found on every page and the fee structure ranges from $25-$75 per business AD. View our list of fees below to see where your business AD best fits.

  • $25 – AD found randomly on one of our informational website pages (not on the homepage). Meaning: A pool of business ADs are randomly brought into each website page, and the position and location of each of the ADs is different each time someone opens a new page. The number of ADs on each page is determined by the amount of content that page has. AD duration is three months. $75 for one year, gets you 3 months FREE.
  • $50 – Static AD appears on ALL pages (exception, does not appear on the Homepage) for a duration of one month.
  • $75 – Static AD appears on the Homepage for one month. Space is limited.
